Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026

This policy explains, separately, how the Nosestel website works and how the Rule of Life application handles information. If you have questions after reading it, contact us at admin@nosestel.com.

1. The Nosestel website

This website, nosestel.com, is intentionally simple:

  • We do not intentionally use analytics.
  • We do not use advertising pixels.
  • We do not use marketing trackers.
  • We do not intentionally set nonessential cookies.
  • The site has no user accounts.
  • The site has no contact form.

If you email us, you voluntarily provide whatever information is contained in that email, including your email address and anything else you choose to write. We use that information only to respond to you.

Like most websites, ours is served through a hosting provider and ordinary internet infrastructure, which may process standard technical information as part of delivering the site — for example, IP address, device or browser information, the pages requested, timestamps, and security logs. This is typical, routine web-server activity rather than anything Nosestel configures for tracking or marketing purposes.

This website may contain links to third-party sites, such as app stores. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

2. The Rule of Life application

Rule of Life is designed so that your substantive personal content — the entries you actually write and keep — stays with you. Through Nosestel’s own product features, the app does not involve:

  • Account registration.
  • Advertising identifiers used for behavioral advertising.
  • Sale of your data.
  • Sale of your personal content.
  • Building an advertising profile about you.
  • Collection by Nosestel of your prayer entries.
  • Collection by Nosestel of your examinations of conscience.
  • Collection by Nosestel of confession-related entries.
  • Collection by Nosestel of your planner entries.
  • Collection by Nosestel of your reading annotations.
  • Collection by Nosestel of your novena history.
  • Automatic cloud backup of those records.
  • Automatic synchronization of those records between devices.

There are a few limited exceptions and boundaries worth being precise about:

  • The app’s technical update infrastructure may contact update-delivery services, such as Expo/EAS, to check for and deliver software updates. Those providers may receive ordinary technical network information as part of that process.
  • App stores (such as the App Store or Google Play) may independently collect information under their own privacy policies, separate from anything Nosestel does.
  • When you choose to export a JSON or PDF file and then share or store it — by email, messaging app, cloud storage, or any other destination you select — that destination handles the file under its own policy, not ours.
  • Nosestel cannot control third-party services you choose to use with an exported file.
  • If the app or your device is removed, damaged, reset, or replaced without a usable backup you created yourself, local data on that device may be lost.

We do not describe Rule of Life as “100% offline” or claim that no data is ever transmitted. The update-check behavior above, and any sharing you initiate yourself, both involve limited network activity.

3. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the website or the application changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
